Appointments and Health Care Providers
Getting help from health care providers (dentist, pediatricians, etc.) can take more of your day than is necessary. Emergencies happen and are a priority over routine care. Here are a few tips that could save hours.
  1. Schedule routine appointments weeks in advance.
  2. Ask to be the first patient or the last patient. If you are the first patient, be on time so you don't throw that office off schedule for the day. If you are the last appointment, call the office about one hour before your appointment and ask if they are on schedule. If not find out how much they are behind schedule and let them know what time you will be arriving.
  3. Write down any questions you have before arriving for your appointment.
  4. Take something to do or read so that any waiting time is not wasted.
